As the owner and co-founder of The Makeup Show, Shelly Taggar has spent the past 20 years building a space where beauty professionals can learn, connect, and grow within a vibrant community of brands, artists, and creatives. Together with her team, she has brought The Makeup Show to over 20 cities worldwide and produced more than 60 events featuring some of the most influential names in the industry. Shelly also serves as Vice President of Metropolitan Pavilion, one of New York City’s most respected event venues.
James Vincent
Director of Education & Artist Relations
As Director of Artistry for The Makeup Show, James is fortunate enough to work with makeup lines and makeup artists at all levels of the industry. James develops all of the education at the The Makeup Show and is an invaluable asset to our team, and at the same time he still works as a sought after makeup artist in New York City with clients such as Joan Jett.
Johanna Breton
Managing Producer & Vendor Coordinator
Johanna graduated from Marymount Manhattan College with a degree in Business Management and a concentration in International Business and Trade. Coming from the Eyewear Industry she dealt with both domestic and International key executives accounts. Working with brands like Betsey Johnson, Cole Haan, and David Yurman, Johanna brings over 15 years of experience in Account Services to The Makeup Show. Her hobbies include spending time with her family and friends.
Whitney Givans
Marketing & Show Coordinator
Whitney brings a thoughtful mix of creativity, strategy, and precision to her role at The Makeup Show. With over a decade of experience in marketing, project management, and client services, she supports the planning and execution of our shows from the inside out. Along with precision and organization, Whitney approaches her work with curiosity and care, always considering how to make things not only function better—but feel better.
Caroline Cook
Executive Assistant & Show Coordinator
Caroline supports all areas of planning and production at The Makeup Show, including design, copy writing, press, show coordination, and communication. With a background in English literature and fine art, she brings organization, skill, and thoughtfulness to both creative and operational work.
